The Florida Immigrant Coalition (FLIC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to amplify the power of immigrant communities to impact the root causes of inequality, defending and protecting basic human rights, including the right to live without fear.
Position Summary: Digital & Data Organizer
The Digital & Data Organizer is responsible for the development of systems to organize data collected by project/program staff and implementation of online organizing programs that lead to offline organizing. This position will work online and offline organizing campaigns targeting members and the general public to build interest in FLIC’s campaigns. The position will help draft member communications, work with the programs and organizing team to identify and test methods to generate activism and build attachment among members and allies to the organization.
This is a fast-paced, self-driven position that requires a blend of interpersonal skills, creativity & flexibility, familiarity working with various tech platforms, and a willingness to complete different tasks every day. This role includes the typical responsibilities of an organizer such as cultivating relationships, tracking metrics, and managing data, as well as communications functions like planning our social media content, email strategies, and developing and launching digital campaigns that grow our community and increase engagement.
