• Manage assigned projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
  • Set and track project milestones, manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed
  • Plan and facilitate project development meetings
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to report on project status
  • Supervise members of the technical staff
  • Work with leadership and staff to establish best practices and standards for data collection, acquisition, preservation, analytics, hygiene, and enhancement
  • Clearly communicate project objectives, status updates, and challenges to non-technical staff and stakeholders
  • Assign duties and responsibilities and oversee workflow of project staff

  • Strong project management skills

  • Able to handle multiple politically sensitive projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of information technology procedures and practices
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and industry
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within the context of a plan
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts while maintaining important and effective relationships
  • Committed to team collaboration and fostering a culture of curiosity in learning new things across a team, including supporting and facilitating professional development opportunities
