Associate Director, Polling & Analytics

Position Summary

Launched in 2016, The Hub is a nonprofit effort made up of a growing team of communications, research, and organizing experts with extensive experience in campaign strategy, digital, polling, and analytics. We believe in a country where everyone has the opportunity to succeed in our economy and participate in our democracy. We make that vision a reality by partnering with advocacy groups – bringing surge capacity and coordination to build innovative and effective campaigns.
 
The Associate Director, Polling & Analytics, will work to manage and oversee public opinion research projects incubated within The Hub Project, including research conducted by the Navigator Research campaign. The Associate Director will primarily be responsible for managing, communicating, and disseminating outputs from a robust pipeline of polling, data, and analytics projects to internal and external stakeholders. They will be responsible for helping grow the footprint and reach of public opinion research products, including maintaining existing verticals and creating new verticals for distribution of our work. This will involve contributing to each aspect of the research lifecycle, including instrument development, data analysis, and overseeing the creation and production of publicly-facing deliverables; it will also require working with our internal digital, communications, and federal and external affairs teams to build cohesive strategies for the distribution and dissemination of our polling work.
 
You’ll be someone who is intimately versed on broader trends in public opinion and is able to be a resource to everyone at The Hub Project. You’ll report on the latest trends and insights to our team and partners across the progressive movement. You’ll have experience communicating high-level insights from complex data sets in digestible forms to a variety of different audiences. You’ll have experience with communications strategy and working to drive and build audiences, as well as being able to interface directly with external stakeholders about our public opinion research projects.
 
As the Associate Director, Polling & Analytics, some of the specific responsibilities you have will include:
 
●      Being the primary point of contact and coordinator with internal stakeholders across departments to develop and execute communications strategies to measurably enhance the footprint and distribution of our public opinion research findings.
●      Working with external consultants and teams (particularly campaign directors) to provide input into our quantitative and qualitative research lifecycles, including questionnaire design, data analysis, and reporting.
●      Presenting and communicating results from polling, data, and analytics projects both internally to strategically inform and advance The Hub Project’s issue advocacy campaigns, as well as to stakeholders across the progressive community, elected officials, and the press.
●      Working with the Senior Director and Director to develop collateral and brand promotion products for brands such as the Navigator Research campaign.
●      Overseeing and helping manage the workflow of at least two positions, one focused on managing the data and analytics needs of the organization, as well as the workflow of an Associate for the Polling & Analytics team.
●      Perform other duties as assigned
