Position Summary

The DCCC is hiring a Deputy Analytics Director, Paid Media Measurement for the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure. The Deputy Analytics Director will support paid media program evaluation and data analysis for the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure, including but not limited to managing the Independent Expenditure’s ad testing program, analyzing media spend data, creating ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders, and other analytics work as needed. In this fast-paced office, the ability to multi-task while remaining detail-oriented is a must. This is not an entry level position.

The annual salary for this role is set at $80,000, with an intended start of April 2022. This position is based in Washington, DC, but remote applicants will be considered.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate, execute, and analyze creative panels for the Independent Expenditure’s paid media programs;
  • Track and analyze paid media spending across districts to maximize efficiency for the Independent Expenditure’s paid media programs;
  • Collect, compile, and prepare digital analytics reports to help the department develop and understand KPIs and other thresholds for success;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience:

  •  At least 1-2 cycles of campaign experience is preferred but not required;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and condense data from a wide range of sources and present data-driven recommendations to a range of stakeholders in a clear manner;
  • Fluency in either Python or R (particularly the tidyverse), preference for experience with data cleaning and analysis;
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with building and maintaining data pipelines and workflows for reporting;
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Google Data Studio
  • An understanding of paid media (traditional and/or digital), preferably in a political campaign context;
  • Draws from team members’ strengths, empowering them to maximize their talents; contributes where needed to achieve and exceed goals; mentors and guides colleagues
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels
