We work closely to provide strategic guidance, advanced targeting, and some of the most cutting-edge creative to the most competitive and closely watched campaigns in the country.

The Role

We are seeking a Deputy Data and Targeting Director to join our data team. The data team is responsible for developing voter contact universes, creating reports to provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders and clients, managing MC’s internal data infrastructure and processes, helping prepare proposals and pitches for prospective clients, and direct overall targeting for the firm. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to coordinate multiple projects at once, extremely detail-oriented, and committed to helping Democrats and progressives win up and down the ballot. 

The salary range for this opportunity is $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience, plus an opportunity for an election bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefit package. Our company is fully remote and the position runs through the end of the 2022 election cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating targeted voter contact universes
  • Conducting research and collecting data on the electoral results and makeup of districts
  • Staying up-to-date on research and findings related to campaigns and targeting
  • Constructing reports and visualizations of data

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • One previous cycle of campaign experience or equivalent political experience in a technical role
  • Familiarity with PDI or Votebuilder / VAN
  • Strong Excel/Google Suite skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and platforms
  • Experience with SQL, Python, GIS, and data visualization software (e.g Google Data Studio, Tableau, PowerBI) nice to have but not necessary
