About WorkMoney

WorkMoney is a nonprofit organization dedicated to lowering costs and raising incomes for all Americans to make American life more affordable and American families more economically secure. We provide products, services, perks, benefits, tips, and tools to help members improve their financial lives. We are a trusted source of information about financial matters, economic policy, and public debates about the economy. We also activate and engage our members in advocacy campaigns to support policies and elected leaders to support our core vision that everyone in America can afford to live a good life. You can find out more about WorkMoney at workmoney.org and Facebook.

What are we looking for?

With over two million and counting, our members are the lifeblood of WorkMoney. The larger we grow, the more impact we can have on making the economy work for everyone. We have grown substantially in a short amount of time. Founded just over a year ago with a wicked smart scrappy team, we are ambitiously aiming to reach three million members by the end of 2021. We don’t want to just add more members, we need the right person to help us find the right members. That’s where you come in.

WorkMoney is looking for a Growth Analytics Manager to help shape our growth strategies. Our team has doubled in size and so has our digital recruitment program. We’re planning a significant, multi-million dollar investment in our growth program over the year ahead and we need strong testing and analytics to meet our goals. We need someone to help us make smart data-informed decisions on how and where to target our investments. We are in the early stages of upgrading our digital ad strategy and this role would be a unique opportunity to create a program from the ground up. Successful candidates will be able to go deep into targeting to define high value membership and optimize for their acquisition. We also need someone who can think big and strategically about expanding to new channels and developing KPIs and testing plans. This role will require you to build meaningful reports, tell stories with data and translate between in-the-weeds analytics and high-level Senior Leadership. To take us to the next level, we’re looking for someone who can help shape our growth and digital advertising strategies. Is that you?

Responsibilities

  • Building, optimizing and pacing media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Create and implement A|B testing strategies
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on digital campaigns
  • Oversee data pipelines and ensure data integrity
  • Use data to quickly identify problems as well as opportunities and help in developing creative solutions
  • Build and manage dashboards for real time monitoring and topline insights

Must Haves

  • 4+ years experience with analytics for a growth marketing or paid advertising team
  • Proven success developing analytical frameworks and KPIs to measure performance and understand key drivers of success
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work with multiple internal teams and external advisors and consultants
  • Experience with experimental design and analysis
  • Expert SQL and Excel skills, and familiarity with a BI reporting tool (i.e. Metabase, Tableau)
  • Proficiency working with relational databases and knowledge of the marketing tech stack
  • Ability to create structure and deliver insights from often ambiguous requirements
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on tasks that advance broader org goals even if it’s beyond your job description or comfort zone

Nice to Haves

  • Data engineering skills
  • Experience with advocacy, legislative or electoral campaign analytics
  • Management experience a plus

Benefits

The salary for this role is $90,000 annually.

We are a hard-working and tight-knit team, motivated by a sense of purpose and mission. We all care deeply about improving our members’ finances and changing our economy so that everyday Americans can live the lives they deserve. And we walk the walk: WorkMoney offers generous healthcare, vacation and retirement benefits — the kind ALL Americans should be able to have, and which we are proud to offer. Those include, but are not limited to: low deductible healthcare, dental, and vision plans with 100% premiums paid by WorkMoney, 401(k) retirement program with up to 6% employer match, four weeks paid vacation, a work from home annual stipend, unlimited sick time, and more.

It is WorkMoney’s policy to ensure that all individuals with whom we are in contact are treated equally without regard to age, color, disability, gender, marital status, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, expression, gender identity, or veteran’s status. We strongly encourage applicants from historically under-represented communities.
