Position Summary
Job description
Community Tech Alliance is looking for a Partner Success Manager to drive partner solutions, lead technical training efforts, develop partner resources, and grow CTA’s contributions to the progressive ecosystem. Reporting to our Director of Partnerships and working alongside our partnership, product, and engineering teams, you will lead efforts to onboard, train, and support our partners as they join the CTA community. As a Partner Success Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to CTA partners by enabling them to use our technology to meet their program objectives. You will recommend best practices to help speed their migration to CTA and act as a tireless advocate for features and requirements. Internally, you will develop the resources CTA provides to partners – be it documentation, how-to’s, code, or other templates.
About Us
Community Tech Alliance is a group of progressive technologists and strategists formed to provide data infrastructure building blocks to the progressive ecosystem at a low cost. CTA seeks to uplevel program impact by unlocking the potential of data, using software and data engineering, and removing the barriers to entry. We are a small team of engineers, data practitioners, product managers, and strategists looking to create infrastructure for progressive change.
Community Tech Alliance believes strongly that:
-
Inclusive teams are strongest, and supportive work environments take investment, intentionality, and openness
-
Empathy is the cornerstone of building smart technology solutions
-
All team members should take ownership of the project and team’s development
-
Iteration is key, and smart solutions require action not perfection
-
Nothing great has been built without making mistakes and learning from them
Job requirements
As the Partner Success Manager, you should have:
-
Experience with data analytics—using spreadsheets, SQL, dashboards, or other reporting to derive insights and drive program goals.
-
Experience training and supporting users or experience creating training materials
-
A passion for teaching technical tools and for empowering individuals to learn new skills
-
Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, conflict resolution, and project management skills.
-
Be able to work with, clarify, and find creative solutions for ambiguous and sometimes challenging requests from partners.
It would be nice to have:
-
Experience working day-to-day using a popular data warehouse, like Redshift or BigQuery, as well as knowledge of the Google Cloud or AWS ecosystem.
-
Experience leading efforts to train, onboard, and support new users to technical software.
-
Experience (including volunteer!) in campaigns, politics, or with other groups in the progressive movement
-
Knowledge of organizing data or software like voter files or voter contact tools
