Position Summary

 

Job Title: Product Manager

Department: Operations

Job Summary: 

The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to teams regarding Vot-ER tools, training resources, and technology. The role involves managing order fulfillment, digital training, and customer support. They will maintain connections with partners, pilot new tools, and manage tech upgrades. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with Vot-ER’s Data Associate on research and data tasks. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Interview, train, and supervise 2-3 interns and a Healthcare Engagement Associate  within the department 
  • Manage external contractors and vendors related to the department
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Field Organizing and Partnerships teams to increase the usage of Vot-ER tools via digital training and other digital outreach
  • Oversee the design and day-to-day distribution of Vot-ER’s physical and digital tools 
  • Provide rapid customer service for healthcare professionals and organizations engaging with our work. 
  • Support the team on bespoke solutions for partners 
  • Design and execute simple yet effective systems for auditing Vot-ER tools and digital work 
  • Cultivate a system and set of advisors for maintaining Vot-ER’s civic technology infrastructure 
  • Consult on decisions about badge ordering, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, email systems, and other Vot-ER technology 
  • Collaborate with Operations to create and manage internal and external dashboards 
  • Create & maintain a bridge to Operations, Partnerships, and Field Organizing Development, and Communications, particularly related to the following… 
    • Build data collection systems that make it easier to regularly pull data & answer key questions about our work 
    • Pilot new/adaptive tools 
    • Utilize tools to track for specific initiatives

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient with Zapier, Figma, and Metabase 

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience in a health or democracy centered space
  • Experience learning new technology and working with data 

 

Compensation Range: $60,000 – $65,000 depending on experience

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working at a computer
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds

Other Requirements: 

  •  Ability to travel a minimum of twice per year 

This is a remote, full-time role. Vot-ER offers a flexible, remote work environment. We have core working hours of 12 pm to 5 pm eastern time, Monday through Friday. During those hours, all employees are expected to be available for meetings and collaboration. Outside of those core hours, each employee sets their own schedule, while recognizing that due to the collaborative nature of the Vot-ER work and mission, employees will often arrange meetings outside of core Vot-ER hours.
