Senior Salesforce Administrator

Position Summary

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) is looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator for its Data & Contracts Department. This role is the primary manager of the Salesforce database and serves as a primary contact for stakeholders to connect Salesforce data to the needs and objectives of the organization.

 

Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the completion of highly-detailed, complex, and expansive SFDC administration tasks including but not limited to user and profile administration, reporting and dashboards, ETL, data cleansing, workflows, object and field creation, and basic application creation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce capabilities and best practices.
  • Connect data in Salesforce to the needs of the organizational stakeholders and the processes that support their work, specifically targeted outreach and engagement with key external audiences.
  • Manage release cycle for internal feature requests.
  • Provide technical expertise and input on the strategic direction to meet data needs.
  • Work with vendors and implementation partners to integrate new applications, integrations and tools within the existing data architecture as needed.
  • Support the creation of technical documentation for Salesforce configuration and related integrations.
  • Creates systems to support complex sharing models, as needed.
  • Communicate requirements for importing and exporting files between formats and programs such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, delimited text files, and a variety of file formats.

 

Qualified applicants will have the following required skills:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree. Equivalent work experience may substitute in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Salesforce Administrator credential.

 

Preference will be given to candidates with the following knowledge or experience:

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator credential.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, and/or R.
  • Knowledge of the structure of labor unions.
