Position Summary
Deputy Data Director
The Ohio Coordinated Campaign is seeking a passionate and hardworking Deputy
Data Director. Strong candidates will be team players who are committed to building
the grassroots turnout operation needed to win elections up and down the ballot for
Democrats in November 2022.
This position reports to the Data Director and is based in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build reports and tools in line with key programmatic priorities,
including direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and voter protection - Assist in developing targeting and resource allocation.
- Create and maintain data standards to ensure data capture and hygiene.
- Develop and present VAN training materials to the organizing team in
statewide, small group and one-on-one settings. - Respond to data support requests, questions and flags.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- A technical skill set that includes familiarity or proficiency in a variety of

Python, QGIS and R. - One previous cycle of campaign experience or equivalent political experience
in a technical role and familiarity with Votebuilder / VAN preferred. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
This position is salaried at $6,000 per month. Employees will be eligible for
benefits including cell phone stipend, medical, dental, vision, and retirement.
